I am Eirini Roupakia, the founder and fashion designer behind the ethical brand FALF Minimal Chic . I have not always been a designer since I went through a great adventure full of information, studies, books and experiences. Being an archaeologist, a teacher, an interior designer and much more that made my journey colourful and so interesting, I touched down in my passion land, Fashion!
Some time ago I sewed a crop top. This top became the flag of my personal revelation ... FALF Minimal Chic came true looking for people that share the same philosophy of slow fashion, quality and longevity.
FALF philosophy is based on the principle that all forms of art are connected to each other and function as one; colours, shapes, motion, music. The goal is to create clothes which extend further than current trends and reach the timeless beauty of minimal chic.
We celebrate 100 years of the Bauhaus.
"The Bauhaus aimed reunite fine art and functional design, creating practical objects with the soul of artworks.
Various aspects of artistic and design pedagogy were fused, and the hierarchy of the arts which had stood in place during the Renaissance was levelled out: the practical crafts - architecture and interior design, textiles and woodwork - were placed on a par with fine arts such as sculpture and painting. "
This collection is a celebration of bauhaus aiming to applicate the artistic values to the practical aspects of fashion. Someone can find the influence of bauhaus at the edges of sleeves ,the colour combinations and the general spirit of the campaign. There is a strong balance between Romantic hints and clean cut patterns.A campaign with soul and no fear."
